Catalog description

This course is a detailed study of human biochemistry as it relates to micronutrients. The metabolism of vitamins and minerals will be examined in depth along with the relationship between micronutrients and cellular function. The clinical signs and symptoms of conditions related to micronutrient imbalance will be explored. Biochemical and laboratory assessment of micronutrients will be introduced.
