Catalog description

In this course, students will be introduced to how to perform data analysis for research studies within a variety of healthcare settings. Students will be given access to databases where they will mine data using SQL. The mined data will be analyzed and presented. Healthcare settings that will be addressed include MS-DRG’s, Population Health, Hospital Readmissions, Nursing homes, and Primary care.
