Catalog description
This course provides an introduction to instructional design and an overview of its role in education. Students will learn about the underlying theories that shape the practice of instructional design, along with its applications. The role of instructional design professionals in the development of various course modalities will be explored, with a focus on course accessibility. Students will ultimately apply this knowledge in a cumulative course design project, which will demonstrate how the elements of instructional design work together.
