Catalog description

This course introduces the principles and concepts of biology. Emphasis is on scientific inquiry, basic biological chemistry, cell structure and function, metabolism and energy transformation, cell division, and genetics. Upon completion, students will be able to explain life processes at the molecular and cellular levels.
