This course is an exploration of the basic compositional theories of dance through the mastery of improvisational movement techniques and the design of dance compositions. Significant performing is required in addition to moderate reading and written assignments. Repeatable: May be repeated for credit. Prerequisite: Two semesters of dance technique or permission of dean.
