Intelligence, Military, and National Policy

Catalog description

This class will examine the role of the military and intelligence in the development and conduct of national and foreign policy since the development of the modern nation-state. The course will cover topics such as the politics of the defense, philosophy and strategies, deterrence, guerrilla warfare, counter-insurgency, and weapons technology. Prerequisite: ENGL 17000 ; PS 38400 .
