This course is designed to examine and analyze issues of low health literacy in diverse populations. Measurement tools for assessing health literacy in diverse populations will be explored. Evidence-based strategies and challenges for improving health literacy in diverse populations will be addressed. Prerequisite: PHS 36000 with a C or better.
