GE-Human Culture: Religion/Human Diversity There are four times as many people in China as in the United States. In an increasingly interconnected world, familiarity with the concepts and traditions that shape Chinese life can be a valuable asset. In this class, you will explore the ancient myths and religious traditions of China (like Confucianism, Taoism, and Buddhism), and learn about how they have shaped contemporary Chinese culture. Prerequisite: ENGL 17000 or concurrent enrollment or three credit hours of PHRL courses.
