GE-Human Culture: Religion There are many different ways to be religious-or non-religious-in today’s world. We will study the emergence of New Religious Movements (NRMs), Secret Religious Societies, and alternative spiritual groups, as well as the development of those who claim atheism, agnosticism, or no religious affiliation (Nones) in the United States. Prerequisite: ENGL 17000 or concurrent enrollment or three credit hours of PHRL courses.
