GE-Human Culture: Religion/Human Diversity The relationship between women, religion, and violence against women is real but often ignored. You will study Hinduism, Buddhism, Confucianism, Taoism, Judaism, Christianity, Islam, and Indigenous African religions as they pertain to women. You will gain an understanding of how each religion engenders violence against women and how women challenge and reconstruct their faiths. Prerequisite: ENGL 15000 or EPP 15000 with a C or better.
