Catalog description

This course is designed to teach Paramedic and EMT instructors how to educate students during psychomotor skills and simulation exercises. Topics covered will include principles of kinesthetic and psychomotor learning, National Registry psychomotor skills portfolio requirements, laboratory set-up and administration, effective laboratory time management, human resources management, equipment set up and maintenance, principles of moulage, general principles of simulation training, briefing and debriefing of students and evaluation of psychomotor and simulation skills. Prerequisite: Paramedic Program Director approval.
