Examination of how evidence-based research influences practice through a critical examination and reflection of qualitative and quantitative evidence. Interpretation of evidence-based practice research, importance to healthcare profession, and interprofessional collaboration are emphasized. Students will learn to evaluate evidence and work through an evidence-based practice evaluation project. Prerequisite: ENGL 17000 .
