Catalog description

In a simulation setting students learn to apply nursing practices and processes to various populations. Students continue to develop skills in communication with focus on families and children. Application of nursing practice to adults, family units, pregnancy, and pediatrics are the focus of this experience. In the clinical environment, under instructor supervision, students are guided through intermediate level to advanced clinical experiences focused on competent patient care, teamwork and collaboration, and clinical judgement.
