Catalog description

This course is a continuation and advancement of NURS 34000. Students build upon the key learnings and continue to develop their critical thinking, problem-solving, and clinical judgment skills to deliver concentrated care in various acute care patient situations. Advanced topics include teaching and advocacy, interprofessional collaboration and communication, cultural/spirituality, and ethical/legal issues related to acute illnesses in addition to expanding on diseases and conditions that could lead to critical illness.
