Catalog description

This course introduces family-centered care to address healthcare needs of childbearing women, infants and children, and family units. Emphasis is placed upon culturally sensitive care, health promotion, disease prevention, safety, and risk reduction during childhood, adolescence, and the childbearing stages of life.
