Nursing Simulation Lab / Clinical Application I

Catalog description

In a simulation setting students learn to apply nursing practices and processes to various populations. Students continue to develop skills in therapeutic communication, advanced interviewing/health assessments, and to apply nursing care to adult and geriatric populations as well as those with mental health issues. In the clinical environment, under instructor supervision, students are guided through intermediate-level clinical experiences focused on competent patient care, teamwork and collaboration, and clinical judgement.
