Catalog description

The course examines pharmacotherapeutic agents used to treat illness and promote, maintain, and restore wellness in diverse individuals across the lifespan. Emphasis is on pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of selected drug families used to treat common illnesses. The focus is on safe administration and monitoring the effects of pharmacotherapeutic agents. This course incorporates drug preparation, dosage calculation, and medication administration practices.
