Leadership Trends and Issues in Nonprofit Organizations

Catalog description

This course will provide students with both a conceptual framework and practical skills of understanding, analyzing, and creating change within and through organizations and communities. The course uses a textbook, online activities, film clips and case studies of nonprofit and public sector initiatives and programs related to the ‘profile’ of an effective nonprofit leader, the role of the nonprofit board of directors, organizational challenges, and tools and techniques for effective management. Fee Information: Lab fee may be required.
