Introduction to Conducting

Catalog description

This course is a practical study of conducting fundamentals, including score reading, verbal and non-verbal conducting techniques, rehearsal strategies, and performance planning. Prerequisite: Four credit hours of private lessons on major instrument, four credit hours of ensemble, and junior standing.
