Catalog description

This course offers a broad overview of vocal literature of 18th, 19th, and 20th century as applicable to the solo singer as well as the study of the physiology of the vocal instrument, error detection and correction, the nuances of teaching private voice, and the historic traditions of vocal study. Includes clinical practice. Prerequisite: Junior standing. Corequisite: MUS 10462 , MUS 20462 , MUS 30462 , or MUS 40462 .
