Ear Training III

Catalog description

Ear Training III is the third level in a series of four Ear Training courses taken together with MUS 34301 Music Theory III. Students will continue to develop aural skills and fluency in sight singing and listening skills at a more advanced level. Prepared exercises in singing, reading, and performance will demonstrate the student’s ability to read music and translate it to sound. Students will also develop the ability to listen to music and translate it to notation. Prerequisite: MUS 24201 ; MUS 24202 . Corequisite: MUS 34301 .
