Ear Training II

Catalog description

Ear Training II is the second level in a series of four Ear Training courses taken together with MUS 24201 Music Theory II. Students will continue to develop aural skills and fluency in sight singing and listening skills at a more advanced level. Prepared exercises in singing, reading, and performance will demonstrate the student’s ability to read music and translate it to sound. Students will also develop the ability to listen to music and translate it to notation. Prerequisite: MUS 14101 . Corequisite: MUS 24201 .
