Ear Training I

Ear Training I is the first level in a series of four Ear Training courses taken together with MUS 14101 Music Theory I. Students will develop aural skills and fluency in sight singing and listening skills. Prepared exercises in singing, reading, and performance will demonstrate the student’s ability to read music and translate it to sound. Students will also develop the ability to listen to music and translate it to notation. Prerequisite: MUS 10000 . Corequisite: MUS 14101 .
