Catalog description

This course offers an introduction to the theory of complex variables and their applications. Topics include the algebra and geometry of complex numbers, Cartesian and polar representation, differentiability of complex functions, analytic functions, the elementary functions, contour integrals, the Cauchy integral formula, power series expansions, residue theorem and more. Fee Information: Lab fee may be required. Prerequisite: MTH 30300 with a C or better.
