Catalog description

This course provides an overview of partial differential equations of mathematical physics. The overview covers elliptic, parabolic, and hyperbolic PDEs. The methods of solutions include the eigenfunction expansions, the Laplace and Fourier transforms, and numerical methods. Fee Information: Lab fee may be required. Prerequisite: MTH 30300 and MTH 31100 each with a C or better.
