Catalog description

This course examines the theory and practice of public relations as a part of the marketing function within an organization. It introduces the concept of public relations as a values-driven management of relationships with groups of people that can influence an organization’s success. This course will examine how and why organizations build ethically and systematically productive and mutually beneficial relationships with such groups. This course includes strategic and tactical public relations program planning and management in both for-profit and nonprofit organizations. Fee Information: Lab fee may be required.
