Catalog description

This course examines the determination and assessment of factors of risk in international business ventures, including the analysis of domestic and foreign constraints imposed by the political and economic environment of multinational business operations. Particular emphasis will be given to the means of identifying, evaluating, and neutralizing risks related to international law, hyper-inflationary economies, nationalization of assets, revolution, war, and inconvertibility of currency. The roles of governments in heightening and reducing risk will also be studied for their impact upon international business. Fee Information: Lab fee may be required.
