Foundations of School Counseling

Catalog description

This course is an introduction to the field of school counseling, services, tools and challenges of the professional school counselor. Another focus is the theoretical and applied study of the helping relationship, the facilitative conditions, techniques of interviewing, counselor self-awareness and use of self and client self-awareness.
