Orthopedic Injury Pathology and Exercise

Catalog description

This course will provide information on etiology, surgical treatment or rehabilitation of orthopedic injuries, and pathology in the joint relating to restrictions used during workouts. The injury process, pathological injury evaluation, and how physical activity can prevent, strengthen, and heal injuries will be discussed. Examination of musculoskeletal injury etiology, tissue biomechanics, and neuromuscular rehabilitation is included. Fee Information: Lab fee required.
