This course explores the role of nutrition in promoting health, performance, recovery, and injury prevention for active populations. Students will study evidence-based strategies for fueling training and wellness, including macronutrient and micronutrient needs, hydration, supplementation, body composition, and nutrition’s impact on musculoskeletal and immune health. Applications include strength and conditioning, fitness instruction, corporate wellness, and physical education. Designed for coaches, trainers, and wellness professionals, the course emphasizes practical skills to support active lifestyles and reduce injury risk through informed nutrition practices.
