This class introduces you to medication dosage calculations. Together, we will explore basic to detailed dosage calculations which will accompany your practice as a healthcare professional. Dosage calculation includes reading, interpreting, and solving calculation and other problems encountered when administering medications or fluids. Mastering drug calculations is an essential skill for today’s health care practitioner and is crucial to maintaining patient safety and improving patient outcomes.
