Catalog description

This course introduces health management students to the information framework used by healthcare organizations to collect, maintain, and report financial information. Special emphasis will be given to transaction analysis and the resulting effect on the accounting equation. Financial statement analysis and the differences between for-profit and not-for-profit healthcare organizations will be stressed. Fee Information: Lab fee may be required.
