Catalog description
This course will study the anatomical and mechanical phenomenon associated with human motion. Students will gain an in-depth knowledge of the musculoskeletal system through the examination of joint structure and muscle anatomy (i.e., origins, insertions, actions, and nerve innervations). Students will use this knowledge to analyze joint-specific and full body movements associated with sports, exercise, and activities of daily living. Prerequisite: BSC 22700 or HFS 20700 .
