Care and Prevention of Athletic Injuries

Catalog description

This course is designed to provide foundation knowledge in the prevention and initial management of injuries and other medical emergencies that may occur during physical activity. Students will gain hands-on experience to support their learning and develop key skills in the management of acute conditions. Students will also have the opportunity to earn certifications in CPR, AED, and emergency oxygen. Prerequisite: BSC 22700 or HFS 20700 .
