Catalog description

This course is an introduction to the theory and practice of pricing and hedging of derivative securities. Topics to be covered include equity, index, foreign currency, commodity and interest-rate derivatives including futures, swaps, and options. Course content will include basic mathematical concepts and the institutional structure of derivative markets. Fee Information: Lab fee may be required. Prerequisite: FIN 52010 ; MGMT 56070 .
