Introduction to Fashion Design

Catalog description

This studio course addresses the basic elements of fashion design as they relate to careers within the industry. Assignments introduce the fashion design processes with sewing and construction and industry research. Assignments will also include trend investigation, consumer research, storyboarding, color story, textile development, fabric identification, design innovation, and sketching creative ideas.
