This course is an introduction to the biochemical processes that drive nutritional and dietary recommendations, including the metabolism of micronutrients and macronutrients, the digestive process, enzymatic reactions, hormonal regulation and the neuroscience of food intake. Prerequisite: BSC 12100 or EXS 24000 .
