Catalog description

This course is designed to introduce students to the basic concepts and principles of real estate. The key concepts of property selection, purchasing, management will form the core of this curriculum. Students will be introduced to the legal, financial and management concepts that must be considered when entering the real estate business. The range of topics will vary from considerations for flipping a house to managing apartments and other commercial real estate businesses. Prerequisite: ENGL 17000 and FIN 32000 both with a C or better.
