GE-Human Culture: Literature Have you ever woken up - late again - and while rushing to class or work wondered: What’s the meaning of all this, anyway? Have you ever felt an almost crushing anxiety when faced with a life-altering choice? If so, you have already experienced existential doubt and angst. The literature in this course, including poetry, plays, short stories and novellas, raises questions about the meaning of life, faith and choice, freedom and responsibility, and the nature of the self. Prerequisite: ENGL 15000 or EPP 15000 with a C or better.
