This capstone course is designed to guide EdD candidates through the final stages of the dissertation process, with a focus on refining, finalizing, and defending their research. Students will receive structured support in revising their dissertation manuscript, responding to committee feedback, and preparing for a successful oral defense. The course emphasizes scholarly writing, academic presentation skills, and the articulation of research significance and impact. Students will engage in peer review, mock defenses, and one-on-one consultations to ensure they are well-prepared to present and defend their work with confidence and clarity. The course also addresses post-defense steps, including final formatting, submission, and dissemination of research findings. Grading Method: This course is graded on a Pass/Fail basis. Repeatable: May be repeated for a maximum of 15 credit hours. Prerequisite: EDA 76700 ; EDA 76800 ; EDA 76900 ; EDR 66500 ; EILC 72000 ; EILC 72100 .
