Trends & Issues in Education critically examines the evolving landscape of education across K-12, higher education, and alternative learning environments. Designed for scholar-practitioners, this course explores the social, political, technological, and economic forces shaping education today, with a focus on equity, innovation, and systemic improvement. Students will engage with current research, policy debates, and emerging practices to analyze how educational systems respond to challenges such as demographic shifts, digital transformation, workforce demands, and global disruptions.
