-3 This seminar provides an in-depth overview of the teacher education program, covering key aspects such as field experiences, examinations, and progression requirements. Designed to orient students to the essential components of the teacher education program. The course includes guidance on purchasing and using the required electronic portfolio system and securing required Professional Liability Insurance. Students must be accepted into the teacher education program during this course to pass. Successful completion of this seminar is required for enrollment in many upper-level education courses. Grading Method: This course is graded on a Pass/Fail basis ending Summer 21. This course is graded on a Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory basis beginning Fall 21. Prerequisite: EDU 50000 ; 9 credit hours of EDU/EDS 50000-level coursework with a grade of C or better; cumulative 3.0 GPA.
