Catalog description

Students will complete preparation for the DESE assessment for Special Reading K-12 certification and an exit survey from the program during this course. Students will review College of Education and Human Services Code of Ethics and reflect on their professional responsibilities and expectations as an educator in the field of Special Reading K-12. Students will have an opportunity to experience varying perspectives on best practices, and strategies from the field by visiting professors, Doctoral Students and/or practicing Reading Specialists. To be taken during the final semester of the program.
