Catalog description

This course includes the theoretical and practical aspects of the early childhood and elementary social studies curriculum. Methodology, techniques, strategies, and materials appropriate to the area are investigated. Students are expected to plan and develop a variety of social studies instruction formats and content including community helpers, civics and government, multicultural awareness, and economics at the state level. Fee Information: Lab fee required. Prerequisite: EDU 21501 ; EDU 32200 .
