Catalog description

In this course, the student will participate in a comprehensive study of the skills required for reading in the content area and reading development, such as phonetic awareness, comprehension, vocabulary, and fluency. A variety of reading methodologies, materials, and evaluation items are presented and used with readers in the school system. This course includes a ten-hour practicum. Prerequisite: EDU 21501 ; EDU 32200 .
