Catalog description

This course is designed to increase the student’s knowledge of the characteristics of human language and how such knowledge facilitates a clearer understanding of the young special education learner. Theoretical schemes of language acquisition, the child’s stages in acquisition of morphology and syntax, sound, and semantics are an integral part of the course. Prerequisite: EDU 50410 or EDU 54100 ; EDU 51500 ; EDU 52210 .
