Economics and the Environment

Catalog description

This course introduces students to the economics of environmental and natural resource problems. Topics covered include externalities, public goods, property rights, the economics of pollution control and global climate change, the principles of cost-benefit analysis, and the economics of renewable and non-renewable resources. Prerequisite: ECON 23010 or ECON 23020 ; ENGL 17000 with a C or better.
