Catalog description
This course examines and explores theories and models introduced in ECON 23030 to deepen student understanding of the factors influencing the macroeconomy. Fiscal and monetary policies are also analyzed in greater depth. Various schools of economic thought-Classical, Keynesian, and Monetarist-are compared and contrasted. Material is presented in the context of recent U.S. economic events. Prerequisite: ECON 23030 ; ENGL 17000 with a C or better.
