Catalog description

This course serves as an introduction to data analysis using the statistical programming language R. Topics include importing and cleaning data, data visualization, data manipulation, text mining, geospatial data, network analysis, and tools for presenting data, including R markdown. Optional topics could include time series and machine learning algorithms. Emphasis will be placed on the “tidyverse” suite of packages. Fee Information: Lab fee may be required. Prerequisite: MTH 14100 , MTH 24100 , or MTH 34100 with a C or better.
