Emerging Platforms

Catalog description

Emerging media platforms–including mobile, social, and digital–are more than distribution channels. They offer unique user experiences and opportunities for communicators to connect with an audience. Students will learn the data visualization software Tableau, which allows users to explore, analyze, and utilize databases. Using content creations strategies, trend analysis, and data analytics, students will learn how to understand their audience, and develop dynamic content for storytelling, user engagement, and brand management. Prerequisite: MTH 14100 or MTH 14200 .
